Achieving the highest targets using our holistic approach
In Helmond a new area development is rising with the aim of becoming ‘the world’s smartest district’, known as Brainport Smart District. We advised Lister Buildings on their energy and water system design for a 60-dwelling apartment complex.
In order to get the green light for the development of the apartment complex, the preliminary design of the the building had to meet the stringent requirements posed by BSD’s Quality Manual. We came up with three increasingly smart and sustainable scenario’s, of which the latter two managed to attain the extremely high targets set by BSD.
The systems feature highly innovative solutions on both the energy and water system side, such as batteries and wastewater recycling.
